What is Home Care?

Home care is often a less costly alternative to a nursing home or an assisted living facility, and services provided by a licensed agency have immeasurable benefits. Working with experienced, compassionate caregivers means that you or your loved one can continue to live at home — safely, securely, and as independently as possible. Family members can rest assured that their loved ones’ medical and personal needs are met by professionals who are screened for compatibility and trained to deal with the challenges presented by specific conditions.

How do I pay for Home Care?

Overwhelmingly, a high percentage of home care costs are covered by the government through Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Commercial Health Insurance
Private or commercial insurance plans will often pay for some of the care provided by a licensed agency. There might be certain limitations and restrictions to services that might apply.
Private Pay
The out-of-pocket option provides the most flexibility in terms of type and amount of service. Insurance plans often have restrictions that might limit the kinds of service a client receives. With private pay, Golden Touch can tailor services to your specific needs and timeframe without limitations.
