This program allows consumers to recruit, hire, and direct their home care worker. Consumers can hire their own family members or friends. However, if you are a legal spouse, a person who is a parent who wants to take care of their child who is under 21 years of age, or any person(s) acting as your designated representative, you may not be eligible to be a caregiver.<\/span><\/p>\n
